I'm really happy about how it turned out! Here's a shot of the purse I made. I've already got an order for one but I don't think I'll make too many of them since this one occupied most of my free time for an entire week. I vowed only to work on the purse while watching TV and as a consequence I watched more TV than I have in months. hehe I guess that's my fault.
All the materials were recycled: chip bags, christmas wrappers, granola bar wrappers, a chain from a broken pocket watch, and one black zipper. I didn't buy a single thing to make this cute little clutch purse except a glue stick. I plan on adding a lining to the purse with some leftover pink satin fabric in the future.

Good Job! If you send Mylinda the picture at her email address listed on her profile page, she will post it on her candy wrapper purse blog, mine is getting sooooo... lonely, no one else has sent her any pictures yet!
Teresa,
Can I post your purse picture on my blogger page.
You did an awesome job..........you should be so proud.
Mylinda
Really pretty! How do you attach the zipper?
Hi Jin! You sew it on. You can find the instructions here: http://www.candywrapperpurse.blogspot.com/ courtesy of Mylinda ;)
Thanks!
oops, sorry, haha. I got confused for a second and I thought I was commenting on her blog xD
I meant that her instructions weren't that clear.
And how do you attach a lining?
I haven't actually tried it yet but I would create a little pocket from fabric and sew it to the zipper before attaching the zipper to the purse (in the usual way).
:) If you try it out let me know!
haha, sorry I keep asking for help here.
I don't quite understand how to sew the bottom, because the openings are all facing the wrong way (really hard to describe)
When I sew it, it never comes out tight enough and I get a lot of pointy ends sticking out.
like here:

see how the bottom is really smooth and folds over seamlessly?
Mine sticks out weirdly :(
My camera is really bad, but if you need some pictures for clarification, please let me know. :)
Hmm it's really hard to explain! You just have to make some loops with your thread. I go around and around multiple times to make it secure. Sorry hope that helps!
